Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium was originally built in 1954 and rebuilt in 1991.
The gymnasium is located right next to the Olympic Stadium. It is a legacy venue of the 1964 Olympic Games and the venue for the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic table tennis games.
